C-Frame laboratory furniture is popularly used in scientific research in institution / university /
pharmaceutical factory etc. It's the choice of many customers because of its strong structure, excellent
weight-bearing capacity and and generous appearance.5
C-Frame is main structure of the Laboratory Benches. It supports the worktop and lab facilities
on the worktop. It's capable of bearing as much as weight around 200KG per meter.
The C-Frames are made up of hollow 30x60x2/40x60x2.0mm square pipes. The pipes are cleaned,
kiln dried at 200°C and painted with anti-acid epoxy paint.
When suspended cabinets of lab workstation are used they are also fixed to the C-frame.Mobile cabinets
are placed on the floor and can be placed between the C-Frames.
For locations where no cabinets are placed the back side is covered with knee panels. Both panels and
cabinets can be easily removed to allow access to the services routes at the backside of the
furniture. C-Frames are available in lengths between 450 and 1800 mm. These modules can be
connected to create larger benches. The C-Frame are always equipped with heavy duty adjustable feet.
hese feet are used for leveling and prevent corrosion. This is useful when major work needs to be done
around the area. If mobile cabinets are used the complete C-frame will be covered with panels. Also two
sides which are directly visible will be covered with panels to avoid exposure of electricity wire or water/
gas pipeline. Parts of bench which are not filled with cabinets, generally used as sitting space, are
covered with metal knee panels.
When pedestal lab furniture is used, then C-Frames are not necessary because it's floor mounted
and cabinets can be placed on floor directly.
For conventional C-frame, it's a little difficult to connect with cabinets. It would take much labour
force and effort to install without ensuring the installation accuracy.
